Practice report from Kringsjå

We found our sports director smiling at Kringsjå yesterday in spite of the terrible Fredrikstad performance. “Yes, it was terrible. In all of our previous games, we have been behind, we have lost or the other team deserved to win. However, we have always offered our opponent a real challenge. In the 2nd half of the Wednesday game, we offered our fans the worst performance during my time in Lyn, sorry to say."

Rolf Magne:

-The progress has not been good since the start of the season. If the players lack essential skills like putting the ball into the net from 10 meters, our competent supporters

ask why don’t you order them to do additional practice on their own improving basic skills?
“They do. Essential question though; the football family is questioned by other diciplines in this matter and I think it is a relevant issue, also within our club.

The week was ended with Kent Bergersen doing structural adjustments on his Molde squad.

While TV2 was out for the normal chase for blood, we asked for the tactics in front of the Moldegame. After all we have a situation with the 3 last games where we have not been impressed by
Molde but ended up losing 3 out of 3. What is the plan of attack?

I have to admit Molde has been very clever against us during these 3 games. We have to respond to this fact involving some changes. Mr. Bergersen does not want us to reveal these changes. However, it seemed like the players involved had a clear picture of their expected moves. From the sideline it was observed lots of positive feed-back from the coaches on the players execution of the
specific orders.

-Do you have all players available for the Moldematch?

“No, we still have Dahm and Brink out for another week, but their progress is good. And

because we didn’t start with Berntsen in Fredrikstad he will probably be fit for starting the Moldematch. 3 games in 7 days is probably a little bit more than what is ideal for him.

This week has been very active at Kringså. Yesterday a summerschool had the pleasure of meeting the players after their practice, while 10 of our juniors instructed the football school
attendants. Here is one of them;

Tom Sadeh with a passing foot even better than Sokolowski’s according to one of our most frequent Bastionenguys observing practice.

…while Edwin Kjeldner felt he deserved to relax after his performance in Drammen the day before!
